Argentina were no match for India's attacks and it was a thorough performance by Roelant Oltman's boys. They pulled one back via Gonzalo Peillat but it was too late. Towards the end they did try to make inroads but it was not to be.
India now have a chance of entering the knockouts with 2 games to go and their quest of a medal in hockey after 36 years is still on track. Incidentally, this was their first win over Argentina since 2009.
